Our community of changemakers is at the heart of Grow Remote. By supporting our mission in even the smallest way, you are part of our movement to fundamentally change Ireland.
If you’re a member of a local chapter or Grow Remote Online (Slack), we would love to offer you a complimentary ticket in return for hearing your story about how remote working has impacted you.
Do you have an early stage product or solution that will help develop the remote working ecosystem?
We’re hosting an innovation competition as part of the Grow Remote Summit with a €10,000 prize fund.
The competition supports innovative ideas which aim to activate the power of remote work for people, profit and planet.
It is vital to drive innovation in what is still a very new sector. At Grow Remote, we’re uniquely set to platform and connect makers, creators and solution builders.
Do you offer innovative technology, products or services that contribute to the remote working ecosystem? Would you like to showcase your remote working culture? We are offering a limited number of exhibition spaces.
Questions & Answers
How can I apply for the innovation competition?
You can apply here
Can I help run the Summit?
You can become part of the Grow Remote team during the Summit by registering as a volunteer. Over the past 5 years, our volunteer changemakers have been the heart and soul of Grow Remote and we cannot wait to celebrate with you in Portlaoise! To register, please click this link and we’ll be in touch with next steps.
Can I support with Summit prep?
Yes you can! We are working with a select number of volunteer changemakers who wish to contribute their skills in the run-up to the Summit over the coming months. This is fully remote and we ask for 2 hours per week. However, if you are based in Portlaoise, we’d love some help on the ground too! Please click this link to register for this opportunity.
Will the content be available online after the event?
Yes, sign up for our newsletter and keep an eye on our socials we will be recording and sharing as much as possible in the weeks after the event.
Where can we stay?
Here are 3 accommodation options we can recommend. Mention Grow Remote at time of booking. There is a further list of local accommodations and activities available here

Will the Grow Remote Summit be a hybrid event?
At Grow Remote we believe that the more ‘remote’ we are, the more critical in-person connections become. That’s why our remote work conference will be a fully in-person event. We are all about the magic that happens when people meet together in real life! Read more about why the conference will be in person in this article by our General Manager John Evoy.
What time does the summit start and finish at?
The venue is open at 8:45 and the last speaker finishes approx 17:15. We have a whole festival trail of events around the town until late.
Where is the venue?
The venue is Music Generation Laois right in the centre of Portlaoise and within walking distance of the train and bus stations. eircode R32 Y074
