How We Use Your Personal Data (Legal Basis for Processing)

Grow Remote Ireland CLG takes your privacy very seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent unless required to do so by law. We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purposes specified in this notice.   • Employment Matching: In the performance of our duties as employment agents where we match candidate and employer requirements, securing interviews and, ultimately an offer of employment.

  • Identification: To validate identity and eligibility to work within the EU where applicable.
  • Medicals: To schedule a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Reference: To complete pre-employment reference check with previous employers.
  • Contracts: To facilitate the issuing of employment contracts by the client.
  • Payroll: To ensure payment is made for employment completed through Grow Remote Ireland CLG.
  • Taxation Compliance:  To comply with our legal obligation for business accounting and tax purposes.

Your Rights

Clients

The clients will receive a formatted version of your current and previous employment records and educational details. The reason is to demonstrate suitability to the job requirement and to encourage the clients to arrange interviews with the candidates.

Safeguarding Measures

Grow Remote Ireland CLG takes your privacy seriously, and we take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you, and your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including: –

Consequences of Not Providing Your Data (if applicable, see Article 13(2)e)

You are not obligated to provide your personal information to Grow Remote Ireland CLG. However, as this information is required for us to provide you with our services, we will not be able to offer some/all of our services without it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Grow Remote Ireland CLG only ever retains personal information for as long as is necessary, and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations.

We retain candidate application data for a period of two years, whereon we seek consent to retain it for a further two years.

Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.

In relation to our own staff, we are required under Irish law to keep employment records as follows, after which time it will be destroyed;

  • Terms of employment 3 years
  • Wage information 3 years
  • Working hours and related information 3 years
  • Collective redundancy information 3 years
  • Carer’s leave records 3 years
  • Employment records of young persons 3 years
  • Employment permit records 5 years or a period equal to the duration of employment (whichever is longer)
  • Taxation records 6 years
  • Parental leave records 8 years
  • Accident records 10 years

Lodging a Complaint

Grow Remote Ireland CLG only processes your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data protection laws. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data or are unsatisfied with how we have handled your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
